| It is difficult to list all formats. The general rule
is "If it plays in

How long video file can I use? |
| This is up to you. The important thing to bare in mind is that the you control how large your Video Gif becomes. Do not use every frame when you create your video gif. | |

| Enter the settings and increase the value of Display Time. Display Time determines the amount of time each image is displayed | |

| The first thing to check is if .net is installed. If it is not please download it here. Once it is downloaded you simply doubleclick the installer and follow the instructions. You should estart your computer after the installation before installing Video-Gif. | |

| Does many different colours effect the quality of the Gif? | |

GIF is a rather old image format that was available even before the world wide web. GIF files can be still images or they can be animated images as the ones you can create with Video-GIF. One of the limits of the GIF file format is that they use a palette of 256 unique colours. These colours need to be the same for the whole animated GIF file. When you save a GIF file with video GIF the program will go through all images in the animation and try to create an optimal palette. Even so, for some animations you are going to notice a lower quality due to the necessary change in colours. |
